A Passion for Aviation
Nick Norby, CEO and founder of Norby Air, has always had a passion for aviation. Growing up, he knew he wanted to be a pilot and be involved in aviation in every way possible. At age 16, he attended ground school one night a week to learn the basics of aviation. This solidified his passion and drove him to further his education at the University of North Dakota where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics degree.
After receiving his degree, Norby has grown professionally in both manned and unmanned aviation. Instructing for over 7 years, Norby continues to help those that are passionate about aviation achieve their goals. His certifications, ratings and endorsements include an instrument rating, commercial certificate, multi-engine rating, complex, high performance, and high altitude endorsements, as well as his CFI and CFII.
Outside of Norby Air, Norby has a professional occupation in the field of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) which involves daily flight operations worldwide as well as providing instruction and evaluations. Throughout his instruction time with the program, Norby was rated one of the top instructors in his program from students as well as the instructors and management.
